Bishop succeeds Bryan Uher, who has served as interim dean since the retirement of Michele Stalder last July. Bishop will assume the role on June 24.

Diane O'Brien named director of the Institute of Arctic Biology

Diane O'Brien has been named director of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Institute of Arctic Biology. O'Brien, a professor of biology and wildlife, has served as interim director since 2021.

Barbara Amarok, Director of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Northwest Campus (杏吧原创F NW), retired on Friday, May 31. Amarok served as Director of the Nome-based campus since June 2019.

Erin Morotti serves the Education Trust of Alaska as the Finance Manager, based in Fairbanks, AK. Originally from Southern California, she made her way to Alaska in 2000 as an active duty member of the United States Coast Guard.
